SUMMARY:There Is So Much More More To Say
DESCRIPTION:The age you are\, the age you feel — there is so much more to say… \nThere Is So Much More To Say is an interactive performance created by collaborators ages 19-70 and grounded in the belief that connection and communication between people at different stages in life is important in navigating our shared world. \n“A powerful\, emotional and once in a lifetime experience that felt very sacred and special… This artwork creates an instant community.” – audience member \nJoin us at one of three performances organized by Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries in Torbay (at Torbay History House)\, Carbonear\, and Conception Bay South. \nTorbay: 7pm\, Tuesday\, August 18\, 2026 at *Torbay History House\, 2 Convent Lane\, Torbay\, NL*. \n*Please note that this event is being held at Torbay History House\, in partnership with Torbay Public Library.* \nThe performance runs approximately 100 minutes and is best suited for ages 16 to 116. \nAn invitation to audience members from the artists: Bring an object that means something to you\, that you would be willing to lend to the performance. It should be something that you would be okay with other people seeing or touching while we are together\, but you will take it home with you! \nREGISTRATION: It is FREE to register\, but registration is required. **You do not need a library card number to register — just leave that field blank on the online registration form.** You can also register by emailing torbay@nlpl.ca or by calling Torbay Public Library at 709-437-6571 from 1-6 PM on Tuesday\, Wednesday or Thursday. \nCredits: There Is So Much More To Say was created by Erin Brubacher\, Seung Eun Cha\, Sara Constant\, Janet Morton\, Andrea Nann\, Reza Nik\, and Anne Wessels. It was first performed in its current form at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto in June 2024\, and subsequently workshopped at Eastern Edge Gallery in St. John’s\, NL in July 2024. It is produced in partnership with Dreamwalker Dance Company. This work has received funding from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council.
