NLPL Libraries and COVID-19

NLPL libraries are operating under COVID-19 alert level 2 conditions and are open to the public within established physical distancing guidelines or providing curbside contactless delivery.

Services vary by location, but include contactless curbside service, book drop access, in house patron access, and public computer access by appointment.

You can still avail of library services through the use of the NLPL Digital Library and by downloading the Libby, PressReader and Flipster apps for mobile devices. NLPL has a large selection eBooks, audiobooks, newspapers and magazines that can be checked out over the internet.

Loans, Renewals and Fines

Book drops at the Marjorie Mews and Michael Donovan Libraries in St. John’s, the Mount Pearl Library, the Gander Library and the Corner Brook Library are open. All other book drops are closed and patrons are advised to keep their library materials at home. NO late fees will apply to materials that are late due to our closure.
