Join Vuelo Directo for a one-hour multimedia experience featuring protest songs, revolutionary anthems, and sung poetry that offer a musical glimpse into the dramatic events of 20th-century Spanish and Latin American history. Dr. Myriam Osorio, Associate Professor of Spanish at Memorial University, will be the master of ceremonies for the evening’s program. She will provide insights into the stories and the historical and cultural significance behind the songs. Please note: we will display the lyrics of the songs played, along with their translations. And yes, you can sing along!
