Come join us for a fabulous Family Craft with Hanna Furs on Friday, July 31st from 5:30-7:30pm. This program is hosted by the wonderful folks at the Ukrainian National Federation – Avalon.  We will be making a “Bird of Happiness.”

At the workshop, you will:
– Learn about the meaning of the Bird of Happiness in Ukrainian tradition
– Learn how to work with threads, twine, and a simple winding technique
– Create a unique amulet — as a symbol of life, strength, and love
– Take home an amulet that will bring inspiration, harmony, and happiness every day
– Materials provided (macrame threads, twine, scissors)

Space is limited to one adult/caregiver with one child aged 7 and up, who will take home one “Bird of Happiness.”
