Well Now: Mental Health for Moms
May 13 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Our friends from Lifewise will be here to talk about Mental Health for Moms. Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate moms and appreciate their efforts. Let’s also, talk about their mental health.
This presentation provides an overview of Lifewise Mental Health Peer Services, including the perinatal peer support programs available to individuals and families navigating pregnancy and early parenthood. The session will explore mental health challenges that can arise across all stages of motherhood, including perinatal mental health concerns, parental burnout, and the pressures of intensive mothering.
Participants will learn practical coping strategies to support psychological well-being in the parenting role, as well as how to recognize common signs that additional support may be needed, for themselves or others.
