Sharon Bala our writer in residence is calling all teen writers. This workshop for young writers (aged 13 – 19) will teach the basics of storytelling. Using examples from flash fiction, we will discuss various literary devices (ie. use of second person POV, list stories, and reverse chronology). We will be doing some active writing as well using archival inspiration.
A great start to get ready for writing competitions like the Arts & Letters Award and the Amazon First Novel Youth Short Story Competition.
