Board Games 3

Board Games at the Library

Board games are an excellent addition to a library collection as a means to further advance lifelong literacy skills such as encouraging social interaction, fostering communication skills and promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Borrowing a board game from the library is as easy as borrowing a book with loan periods of three weeks.

Board games are currently available to borrow from the following libraries:

  • Carbonear (LINK TO NEW LOCATION PAGE FOR EACH BRANCH)
  • Clarenville
  • Corner Brook
  • Gambo
  • Gander
  • Grand Falls-Windsor
  • Mount Pearl
  • Port-aux-Basques
  • Ramea
  • Springdale
  • St. John’s Libraries (TH – should probably list each library separately e.g. St. Johns – AC Hunter, etc.)
  • Stephenville
  • Wesleyville

Please contact a library (LINK TO LIST OF LIBRARIES PAGE) near you for more information about our board game collection, our collection locations, or use our online catalogue (LINK TO CATALOGUE) to search for board games.
