February is LOLA (Love Our Local Authors) month at NLPL.
Rebecca Gladney stumbled upon the concept for her book series by accident – and then had to learn fast when she decided to pursue self-publishing them. As an entrepreneur most of her life creating a business came easy – but building a brand and marketing a product that wasn’t her own name and service was a departure from her existing business, so she needed to learn new skills to entice customers in a new marketplace.
This session will be a discussion among peers as much as a presentation, focusing on creative marketing approaches, general social media tips, and digging deep into your own ‘why’ and how you can use it to your advantage.
