Craft Night

Join us at the Bonavista Public Library for our next Craft Night! Bring a project you’re already working on or start something new. All skill levels welcome, just come, relax, and craft alongside fellow makers.

Puzzle Exchange

Come on down to the Labrador City Public Library for our Puzzle Exchange! Bring a puzzle you’ve already finished and trade it with a fellow puzzler for a new one! Enjoy refreshments as you chat with other puzzlers and work on a community puzzle!

Music Night

Join us at the Bonavista Public Library for Music night. A relaxed night of music where all skill levels, genres, and instruments are welcome. Come play, listen, or chat with fellow musicians.

Family Literacy Day Story Time

St. George’s: A 30 minute interactive program celebrating books, rhymes, movement, songs and fun that is perfect for families with multiple children, ages 0-5 years. We’re having story time based on this year’s Family Literacy Day theme of “Make Mealtime Family Learning Time,” followed by a craft!

Drop in and Play

Beginning Wednesday Jan 14th, 2026 and continuing until  February 4th,2026 the Port-au-Port Library will be hosting a Drop in and Play program every Wednesday night from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Kids from the ages of 2-8 can stop by with their parent/guardian to enjoy an hour of doing crafts, puzzles, games and so much more. So drop by and visit your local Library.

Winter Rock Painting

Stephenville Crossing: Rock painting is back with a winter twist! All materials will be provided along with examples, so all you need is your creativity. This program is open to all ages and abilities.

Library Game Night

Stephenville Crossing: Drop in from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM to enjoy games with family and friends. Choose from our selection of board games, or bring one of your own! All are welcome.

GRFRC Family Storytime

Family Storytime at the Melville Public Library with the Grand River Family Resource Centre from 1:10pm-2pm. Crafts to be determined!

Writers’ Circle

HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY: Writer’s Circle hosted by Sara Tilley at the Lake Melville Public Library.

Join us on the first Saturday of each month for a drop-in, low-pressure opportunity to write in each other’s company. Each month we get together to try writing prompts and exercises and share our work.

Open to writers of all genres and experience levels. Bring your notebook or laptop!
