Board Games at the Library
Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries are pleased to announce the arrival of 300 board games to their circulating collection thanks to a generous donation from TimeMaster’s Inc. on Torbay Rd. in St. John’s.
Board games are an excellent addition to a library collection as a means to further advance lifelong literacy skills such as encouraging social interaction, fostering communication skills and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Borrowing a board game from the library is as easy as borrowing a book with loan periods of three weeks.
Board games are currently available to borrow from the following libraries:
- Carbonear
- Clarenville
- Corner Brook
- Gambo
- Gander
- Grand Falls-Windsor
- Mount Pearl
- Port-aux-Basques
- Ramea
- Springdale
- St. John's Libraries
- Stephenville
- Wesleyville
