Board Games at the Library
Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries are pleased to announce the arrival of 300 board games to their circulating collection thanks to a generous donation from TimeMaster’s Inc. on Torbay Rd. in St. John’s.
Board games are an excellent addition to a library collection as a means to further advance lifelong literacy skills such as encouraging social interaction, fostering communication skills and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Borrowing a board game from the library is as easy as borrowing a book with loan periods of three weeks.
Board games are currently available to borrow from many of our libraries. Visit the NLPL online catalogue to see what board games are available to borrow.
Please contact a library near you for more information about our board game collection, our collection locations, or use our online catalogue to search for board games.
